Horizontal Drilling Machine

Our HDD fleet combines compact urban rigs and high-thrust units built for long, challenging crossings. Each machine features real-time electronic guidance, high-torque drives, and closed-loop fluid recycling, letting us steer precisely under roads, rivers, or utilities while keeping the site clean and compliant.

With variable push/rotation control and eco-friendly drilling fluids, we cut through rock, clay, and mixed soils without open trenching. From pilot bore to final pipe pullback, Trenchless Drilling US delivers fast, low-impact installations that meet all federal and state standards.

Our crews leverage decades of HDD field experience, detailed geotechnical analysis, and advanced monitoring software to fine-tune every job. By tracking torque, pullback force, and fluid pressure in real time, we adapt instantly to shifting ground conditions, avoid costly delays, and protect existing infrastructure. The result is a safer jobsite, tighter project timelines, and installations engineered to perform trouble-free for decades.

FAQS about Horizontal Directional Drilling

Contact us at danielle@trenchlessdrilling.us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Directional drilling is a trenchless method used to install underground pipelines, cables, and conduits with minimal surface disturbance.

We use a horizontal directional drill to create a pilot bore, then enlarge it and pull the pipe into place—all below ground.

A directional driller is a specialist who operates the equipment and guides the drill path to ensure accuracy.

Directional boring is less invasive, more precise, and often faster than traditional trenching—especially for cross-street or river installations.

You get speed, accuracy, and less mess. With horizontal directional drilling, there’s no need to rip up pavement or disrupt traffic.
